Uncle Mutton - Don & Drew

Was gonna do this in 2waw, but I was to lazy to get off the PC and I liked the way this turned out so it stuck... Heh. I like how Don eyes look puffy like my cat King's, and how Drew looks up and confused-like...

Designs for Don & Drew for the Uncle Mutton video I'm working on... Since they wrote the song and I'm guessing performed it, they're gonna pretty much narrate-sing the video, which isn't really a surprise since that's pretty much what they do in the song... I know their real-life counterparts don't look ANYTHING like these two, but they were the best who looked it... The Red one was gonna be Drew, but then I figured an Indian guy named Drew would sound much funnier... Plus inverting the image didn't look nice...

Here's a putfile link to the song, and if you stayed halfway through you'd see why I made the Indian guy there in the first place! He was gonna wear a turban at first, but then I decided to unwrap it abit so he'd look abit like the drummer guy from THE DARKNESS...

Now, for the "jock" guy, Don... At first he was gonna be blue so he'd seem "cool", but it didn't look right... So then he was green, but the whole green 2nd-class pleope thing is already Jerry's thing, so I tried blue with green streaks, but that seemed to confusing, since this video belongs to something that 2nd-class pleopes, the models' hair is just stuff that sticks outta their head, so it has to be in that same colour... And speaking of his hair, it's based on my old Poogle(yes, the neopets one), Pooglio_Spike's hair... Search for him in there, he's the one with the stars on his fur...

Okay, if you've digested that, we'll get back to Don... He got to be red when I figured out that I haven't had one of those red people, in 2nd-class anyway... And Red and Chrome Yellow go really well together! Like my Friendster profile! And what's coincidental is that my friendster profile has "Uncle Mutton" playing on it too! Freaky!

Colour Schemes 2 II

While waiting for bro to get off the PC in the morning(which has unfortunately become a rountine for me), I intended to practise on the Colour Schemes 2 scene by using the art stlye of Chikin', which was drawing with the pencil tool, going over it with colours, and then pasting the outlines over it again... Nearing the end of making this picture, I liked the outcome so much(especially of the clouds) that I decided to make this a proper 1waw... Got rid of the Raiden & Camier figures, because they were a little, odd...

As you can see, I kept most of the original colours, since they just work... Also finally got to adding the palm trees at the side of this picture at the last minute, since what's a tropical picture without a splash of green, right? And since I was renewing the scene, I may as well add the lighting-lines I was talking about on the original post... And I kept most of the original colours, since they just work...

And then I was thinking about this post(advanced, aren't we?) and how it would turn out and for some reason I had this strong urge to put up a mock picture with the captions 'what if I added the two and used the kids' figues from the first one but the background of the second one? Huh?'... Turns out I liked this picture even better, thus the name Colour Schemes 2 II, with the previous one being simply 'Ending Scene'... Finished this on 9:11(am), huh...

I inverted Raiden & Camier's positions from the original, since it works better that way, and eventhough if I had simply the background inverted, the angle where this picture is supposedly taken would've matched the original... But I like it better this way... *Shrugs*

Stage of Blinding Lights

Wow. I finally did it! A "City of Blinding Lights" tribute... Actually had this idea a long time ago, I think maybe some time after the barbecue, and I even did a little concept of it on my 2waw book, but only did this morning, while listening to, evidently, a speeded-Mr.Lonely-type version of The Coral's "In the Morning", and before that a fast version of the U2 song, to get me in the mood for making this pic... Well, here it is...

The colours are a little bland, I know, but hey, it's only a concept, and it's good enough I brightened it up abit, right? Oh, and by the way, the man, his shadow, and the stage, they're symmetrical -- I made sure of that...

Actually, I had this dream a few nights before 'Dream'... Seriously planning on passing this off as a PIXAR Animation short... Maybe one day... Maybe 'Dream' could be a PIXAR short, too! Good thing I drew this out, though...so instead of my originally dreamt Wallace and Gromit-styled chicken designs, they have cheeks now and could very well make use of the 'Dash' model from THE INCREDIBLES and feather 'em up abit...

So, back to the dream.. It's about two chickens who evidently caused an eagle to shoke on it's young..it was carrying it in it's mouth... Strange, you say? Well, it's even stranger that the young looked like a live-action baby chicken! A lot like the one on Spongebob... But the eagle was live-action, chickens were clay, or cartoony, at least... I guess because it looks more threatening that way... Yeah... decided to go with a new approach to colour this one, and it's probably the last time I'll use said approach again...

Dream

Well, one night I had this strange dream that I was this poorly drawn white cartoon kid, curious about my school for some reason, and was at places I shouldn't have been... So, would you like to hear the story? Okay, here we go...

See, the quote, "A little, alot, EXTREME, intense...", was what the scary principal on the right kept saying to intimidate tresspassers(in this case, me), since each word seemed to ecplipse the intensity of the last one, hence the last word being intense... Just the way he said was just scary enough... Anyway the dream ended with me, at least I think it was "me", managing to escape into the assembly hall before the principal caught me loitering around before school, but still keeping a freaky suspicious eye(brow) on me...

The design might be based on Pelswick and I dreamt the animation somewhat on the lines of The Big Knights'... And the most important feature I remembered was "my" hair... Just thought I'd letcha know...

Exploding Dogs

Yeah, these are based on the Exploding Dog drawings I use for my blog... This one's kinda supposed to say "I'm so bloody frustrated my arms are out of control"... Yeah... I don't have a WACOM, sadly, so my drawings compared to the original are kinda, "less organic", in a way...

And this one is supposed to mean "you did something stupid"... I still don't know why the mouths are so thick... Eh well, what's done is done...

"Hey, what's this? Oh, a different style for 2waw, of course! Don't worrry this is only temporary," That was what I had originally put down when these pictures were on 2waw, but then I decided these needed a whole new page, so here we are...

I did this on the labtop in my room, bored..so I decided to colour in Zeaxov, Raiden, and Camier in Paint... I like this picture; it looks like Raiden & Camier are in trouble... The Zeaxov is a little bit based on Zeaxov Smile, in case you haven't noticed... His hand was supposed to be holding something important from Raiden & Camier, don't know quite yet what it is till now, but you get the idea... And as you can see, I've stuck with the design of the kids' clothes from In the Moonlight and Both and eerily, way back to the first Ray Gunn picture, 'cept now he's wearing shorts(and the colours are different, but you couldn't really tell since that was all grey)...

This one is Raiden and Camier opening some portal-ish kinda thingamabob to a sorta 'sanctuary'-place... Yeah, although I spent about half an hour on the previous picture, I spent about the same time on this one, but alot more detailed, no? This isn't really nice, though... Pretty good for a 2nd try, but still... Maybe some lighting-lines to show the rock's and cloud's gradients, like in the picture below would have made this better... Ooh wow, the spray paint effect sucks... At least the kids look okay...

As with my other images so far, this picture was also inspired by the concept art & collages of THE INCREDIBLES, or more specifically, Magma Moments... I call this one "Zeaxov's Nightmare", for obvious reasons... And yeah, I'm getting better at this shiyyut, I managed to complete this in a matter of minutes[less than thirty]=)

This..took me quite a short time to do... See, I was frustrated with the time I took to make the logo look symmetrical and even, so in the end, I decided to mimic the logo at the credits of THE INCREDIBLES, instead of the way-cool 3-d one in the beginning...

How I came up with this one is pretty interesting... Originally, I was searching for a font suitable to match my first hand-drawn f-ingcredible design, and stumbled upon Webdings... Enlarged it, coloured abit, and you got a picture named after an exaggerated spelling of 'fire', in a way that super-annoying Randy Quench would have said it...

Ye-ah... So this is where I'll post some INCREDIBLES links and stuff..you know, my *inspiration*(it looks special with the stars and stuff) and why I chose them... Alright, here goes...

Mostly colour-script styled stuff is what I do, I really like that sh!t, so uh, yeah... Okay, moving on...

The Exploding Dog thing... Well, that's mostly used when I have an idea or something but either too lazy to draw or even "colour-script" it, or it's not worthy to be done so... Yeah... Whew... Glad I summed it up for ya...
